Fishlosophy is a co-ed Fishing Education Program comprised of camps and private lessons for all ages ( camp ages 6-15) and located in nature along the creeks and waterways of Bethesda, Md.
Run by Elliott Brown, Whitman HS Senior, VP of Education for Whitman HS Fishing Club, kid friendly, patient, and highly skilled fisherman versed in teaching all ages fishing and navigation of the creeks and waterways of Bethesda. He has been teaching kids for the last four years and running an organized camp for the last two years.
As a long term Bethesda resident networked into the DC regional fishing scene, Elliott has the expertise and access to the best local, experienced, and passionate HS instructors to serve this camp.
A fisherman since age 5, Elliott models life skills fostered through a passion for fishing in order to successfully navigate the waterways and various fish of both nature and life. Elliott knows that he doesn’t just hook the fish, they hooked him and have carried him through both calm and rough waters.
We emphasize a welcoming environment, teach exceptional life long fishing skills, and build meaningful life skills of patience, perseverance, focus, serenity, and the rewards of connecting to nature. That’s where fishing meets life!
We practice catch and release, which means you’ll take home photos and memorable experiences over actual fish and learn a respect, appreciation, and awe for these species , their ecosystem, and nature overall.
